UNR Dining | CRC

Client: University of Nevada Reno

CRC managed the construction of a temporary student dining facility for the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) after a catastrophic utility explosion demolished the existing building.

Staying on budget, CRC built “The Den” in a tightly compressed timeline using Sprung structures. CRC oversaw general contracting of the facility construction. This included providing permits, site clearing, excavation, foundations, American Disability Act (ADA) accessible sidewalks, structure and erection, electrification, plumbing, fire suppression, heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), installation of all interior fixtures, painting, and final finish work on the facility.

CRC completed the contingency construction in less than two months from start to finish—just in time for students returning from Thanksgiving Break.
